The Mills County Historical Museum and Chamber of Commerce, located at 1119 Fisher Street in downtown Goldthwaite. Take a walk back in the history of Mills County. The Regency Suspension Bridge, starting point and historical marker information in Goldthwaite is located at the intersection of FM 574 (Hanna Valley Rd.) and Hwy. 183. Drive west about 19 miles and take dirt road to the left of FM 574 to Regency. The only thing left at Regency is the abandoned old country store. Continue straight for one mile to Suspension Bridge.
The Wildflower Tour, Every Spring the Hill Country comes alive with wild flowers that pave the way through towns and cities in the Hill Country. People from all over come to the Hill Country to view natures gift of Springtime.
Goldthwaite City Park, Located at the intersection of Hwy. 183 and Hwy. 16 South. Playground equipment, BBQ pits, City Pool, lots of shade trees great for an enjoyable outdoor picnic.
Goldthwaite Golf Course, Located two miles south of Goldthwaite on Hwy. 16. Nine holes, par 36. Open to the public seven days a week and memberships are available. For more information contact the golf pro shop at 325-938-5652 year round.
